1. Overview
This website, dewdiamond.com, is operated by Diamond Electrical Industries, Kolkata ("we", "us", "our"). By visiting the website or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service, together with our Refund Policy and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. Using the website
You must be at least 18 years old, or use the website under the supervision of a parent or guardian. You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its security, or to copy its content for commercial use without our written permission.
3. Products and information
We try to describe every product accurately, including wattage, size, cutout, finish and light colour. Photos are for reference, and the colour of light and finishes may look slightly different on your screen. If you are unsure, please contact us or see the product at our showroom before buying.
4. Prices and offers
All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST unless stated otherwise. Prices and offers can change without notice. Offers apply only for the period and products stated. If a product is listed at a wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid.
5. Orders and payment
An order is confirmed only after payment is received and we send you an order confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order if a product is out of stock, if there is a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud. In such cases, any amount paid is refunded to the original payment method. Payments are processed securely by our payment partners; we do not store your card details.
6. Shipping and delivery
Delivery times shown are estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, strikes, weather or other events outside our control. Please check the package at delivery and report any damage as described in our Refund Policy.
7. Returns, replacements and exchanges
Damaged or defective products are replaced, and unused products can be exchanged, as set out in our Refund Policy.
8. Installation and safe use
Lighting products must be installed by a qualified electrician, following the instructions supplied and local electrical rules. Use the correct driver or power supply for low-voltage products. Damage caused by wrong installation, voltage fluctuation, water entry beyond the product's rating, or misuse is not covered by warranty.
9. Warranty
Products carry the warranty stated on their product page, starting from the date of delivery. The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover physical damage, wrong installation or normal wear.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim connected with a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as installation or labour costs, loss of business or loss of use.
11. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, product photos, graphics and the Diamond name and logo, belongs to Diamond Electrical Industries and may not be used without our permission.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
