What Are Spike Lights, Fountain Lights and Burial Lights?
A spike light is a small LED fixture on a metal spike that pushes directly into soil or a planter, used to uplight a shrub, tree or garden feature from below. A fountain light is a submersible fixture designed to sit inside a water fountain or pond, lighting the water itself as it moves. A burial light, also called an inground or well light, is set flush into paving, a lawn or a driveway, so only a glass face is visible at ground level, lighting upward along a wall or path without an exposed fixture.

Choosing the Right Landscape Light for Your Garden
- Flower beds, shrubs and small trees: the FL2 spike light pushes into soil in seconds and can be repositioned as planting changes.
- A water fountain or pond: use the FL1 submersible fountain light, which is built to run underwater and cycles through RGB colours.
- A path, driveway or wall base: a burial light sits flush with the ground, so there is no raised fixture to trip over.
